“If you like Shakespeare, you’ll love this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you’ll love this show!”

—The Today Show

Perform all 37 Shakespeare Plays at one time? Yes! With the guidance of a Live Arts director and artistic staff, you and your fellow actors will mount a production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), the irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays. This is your chance to act in a show comprised of high-speed roller-coaster type condensed versions of Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories, and Tragedies in a wild ride that will leave the audience breathless and helpless with laughter.

In the first week of camp, the director and artistic staff will lead the cast through auditions and a series of workshops and master classes including audition technique, ensemble performance, physical comedy, Shakespearean text, and voice and movement techniques. In the second week, you and your fellow actors will be deep in the rehearsal process building towards the opening of the show. The camp will culminate in two public performances on the Gibson Theater Stage. This is your chance to act in a Live Arts show while making new friends, collaborating with professional theater artists and practicing your acting skills! All roles are available and enrollment is limited so that every performer will be featured.
