Final performances of TWELFTH NIGHT will be at 5:30pm on Friday, June 28 in the GIBSON THEATER (2nd floor) and 1:00pm on Saturday, June 29 in the FOUNDERS THEATER (3rd floor).
Auditions take place on the first day of camp.
Put on a Shakespeare play in two weeks?!? YES! This is rapid-fire theater making, Live Arts style. In the first week of camp you’ll go through the audition process and get a crash course in all you need to know to act in a Live Arts Shakespeare production, including script analysis, voice and movement work, and exploration of Shakespearean text. In the second week of camp you and a faculty of seasoned theater artists will get deep into rehearsals as you focus on building stage presence, creating a character, and making bold choices. Finally, the camp will culminate in two public performances in the Founders Theater. This is your chance to act in a Live Arts show while making new friends, collaborating with professional theater artists, and practicing your acting skills! All roles are available and enrollment is limited so that every performer will be featured.
